Snowdonia / Eryri - Welcome / Croeso

Collage of Snowdonia's attractions

The Snowdonia National Park was designated in 1951 and covers 823 square miles. Within its boundaries are mountains, lakes, castles and a wealth of history.

The area is home to around 26,000 people and is visited by an estimated 6 million people a year.

This site aims to give you a feel for the area. I'll be concentrating on the north of the park, the area around Snowdon and the Glyders, and the isle of Anglesey (Ynys Mon).

You can search the site or follow the links opposite to find out more. If you'd like to see something else included then please contact me.
