Heading One
Tryfan is technically part of the Glyders but it is unlike them in many ways and therefore deserves its own mention. Situated at the south east end of Llyn Ogwen, Tryfan stands at 3010ft, its rocky peak so narrow there is no room for a cairn. The summit of Tryfan is only half a mile from the A5, but in that half mile you will climb over 2000ft.
